Can't use glyerine anymore :-(

So I've been paying attention and it seems that while I am okay with a glycerine based soap/cream, AS products with glycerine are causing acne breakouts.

Don't know why.

So if I need to go with the Aqua Velva, it is sparingly and infrequent.


Although on the bright side, Clubman has no glycerine.

do you have the same reaction to "Propeline Glycol" ? a lot of aftershaves use that instead of glycerine..

haven't noticed that making a difference.


I've been making a mental note on the condition of my skin for the 24 hrs until my next shave.

Dryness, oiliness, burning etc.

Trying to get a feel for the different soaps, creams, balms and liquid AS's.



And the liquid glycerine concoctions seem to be the culprit.


But I will keep an eye of the antifreeze too.
