    Default Australian Aftershave compendium

In order to create another page in wiki, I would like to list the Australian Aftershaves.

    I know there aren't many but there's a few...

    What I know

Brut Original (Yup, there's a made in Australia version)
    Gaia organic
Honey Bee Gardens (HBG) - The Australian one - http://www.honeybeegardens.com.au
    Imperial Leather (Original/Vertigo)
    Smartmen - http://www.smartmen.com.au/
Wahl Bay Rum Aftershave - http://www.wahl.com.au/
    Turnley - http://www.turnleys.com.au/files/turnleysformen.pdf
    Vitaman - http://www.vitaman.com.au/

    What else?

I forgot about that one... I tried the shaving cream and didn't like it as I couldn't use my brush...

    Information added!

I might stop using the Wahl aftershave. I don't know if I'm imagining things but it's starting to smell a bit different now after a few weeks of first using it.

That might be normal. Air in the bottle, if there's alcohol, it can evaporate, etc.

Does the Proraso Splash suffer from that? Or is any change in the smell still smell good?

I'm not far enough in the bottle to advise but, at the moment, the scent is mild and the effect is still totally there!

I enjoy the bottle of Imperial Leather that I'm using--what do you guys think of it?

For me, the herbal/menthol fragrance of Proraso remains pretty constant. I've never noticed any changes over time or from bottle to bottle. Good stuff.

Imperial Leather Original is good, I like it. I got a sample of Imperial Leather Vertigo, not that great...

    Thanks Lenard!

Is Vitaman still around? At one time their aloe based gel was the BEST a/s product I had ever used. They changed it though and it wasn't nearly as good. Its main claim to fame was the blue cypress essential oil it contained. It was not the product that did the trick because the newer formulation had it too and it just wasn't the same.

    Regards, Todd

I bought this stuff a while ago, and am ready to give it two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

Granted, I don' t use it as an aftershave (my Tabac would get lonely) but as a moisturiser/sunscreen it is amazing. I'm including it because it says it can be used as an ASB.

Also, it's available from the Shaver Shop for 12.95 - check it out if you want an SPF30 moisturiser that won't clog pores and feel like a lead weight.

The problem with Arsenal is that they always try to walk it in!
