Default Difference in Omega bristle quality

Hey guys, I'm getting a brush as a gift and I'm wondering if the only difference between the lower end Omega brushes ($10-$13) has difference bristles than the higher end ($22-$30). I'm referring to the boar brushes. Is there a difference other than size?

Here are 2 examples of similar brushes in different price tiers:

The 31XXX has a noticeably thicker bristle and the tips soften up significantly. Here is a good video comparison.

I got a 10029 Baby Pro Boar for less than $10...I've never used a better brush...It's a real work-horse...small brush, huge lather...Used it daily for 2 months and it hasn't shedded one hair, Whats that all about ? I love it, and everyone I know with one loves them, and the boar feels GREAT on your face...I only face lather and I'm sorry when the lathers ready, cause the process feels so good...:)) And the brush is small enough to drop right into a tall pill bottle for traveling...

Great video. I didn't know about the different diameter boar hair across the Omega brushes.

    "I don't do boar."

I might have to eat my own words here in about 5 minutes (or however long it takes me to decide between a 49 and a 10066...
