Take it slow. Small strokes. And no pressure

The shaves keep getting better over time.

Why wait until tomorrow? Lots of us prefer to shave at night so things don't have to be hurried in the morning.

Anyhow, best of luck with your first shave and be sure to update us on your progress!

While I can't speak for everyone... I find that a shower before the shave helps a lot. It hydrates my face, a gentle facial cleanser cleans off any gunk, and I get a better shave with less irritation.

If I shave in the evening, I take a brief shower first.

Good luck! Don't expect miracles the first time you shave. Give it time and practice and soon you'll be getting fantastic shaves everytime.
