    Default T&H Trafalgar

Being this my first experience with Truefitt & Hill, I can see why it has many supporters.

I received my sample pack yesterday, so for this morning's shave, I decided to try one of the creams and my choice was Trafalgar.

Holy cow!!! what a great product!!! the smell is awesome, refined, very masculine yet subtle; the lather, rich and outstanding; the slickness, very good, although I need one more shave to fully judge it.

Once done shaving, I used some of the Trafalgar ASB and also liked it at lot.

Next on my rotation, I'll try either the 1805 or the Grafton creams, as both have received a lot of praise by many around here.

Great product. I used up my Trafalgar a while back but now have a tub of Grafton - another wonderful scent.

Trafalgar was the first full size cream and AS that I bought and even with all of my other purchases since it still remains as one of my favorites.
The 1805 and Grafton are both nice too and I might even replace the Trafalgar with the 1805 when it runs out.

    Thumbs up

One of my favorites from T & H. I have the cream, after shave balm, and the cologne. A set as a gift from my S.O. What a woman I have!

You can purchase them from the Truefitt & Hill website. It comes with the cream, AS and pre-shave oil.

At the T&H website. You'll need to pay for shipping and handling. So they aren't soo much samples as they are really really small tubes of the stuff. ;o)

I like all the T&H products. Although, I think I'm going back to the Anthony Logistics pre-shave oil.

Love the sample pack as well.

I've found Trafalgar is much better to my nose than the Grafton or 1805.
It isn't say say I dislike those smells, but the aroma of the Trafalgar is just incredible to me.

I've gotten perhaps 1/3 of the way through the pack, and by far the Trafalgar is my favorite.
They all lather, glide and moisturize extremely well so it just comes down to picking a great scent at this point.

The sample pack is truly an excellent deal; it's probably the best sample pack in the shaving business. I must say, however, that I was not that impressed by either the shave creams or the balms. I use Prorasso as my benchmark for creams and balms, and none of them come close to it in performance. I think the Trumper creams and after shave skin food (which you can also get in a nicely priced sample kit) are superior to the T & H creams and balms. The Trumper creams are slicker and "prettier" than T & H and the skin food goes on dry (and even a bit tacky) which I prefer because my skin is oily. Additionally, the only scents from T & H that I am fond of are 1805, West Indian Limes, and Freshman. The rest seem bland and uninteresting to me.

It's funny but I have found quite the opposite. I like their ASBs so much I have been looking for another to measure up to theirs yet in a scentless or lavender form. Finally I found CF ASB in lavender and finally I'm set. It fit perfectly.

The Trafalgar is a great shaving cream.
It has a wonderful scent, excellent moisturizing properties and very good slickness.
It is a Truefitt & Hill cream, or if you prefer, a top-notch product.

Grafton wound up being my favorite, followed by 1805 and trafalgar. All perform quite well.

Well my sample pack arrived, and I must say I am quite impressed at the value of this sample pack. I shaved with the Grafton cream and balm and it was wonderful!!! So much lather, and fabulous scent! It's the first experience I've had with Truefitt & Hill and it sure is a good one. I can't wait to try all the other creams in the pack. Trafalgar will probably be next.

Shipping is included with their quoted price. I paid $8 after coupon for mine.
