Nice razor, Lau! However, I believe that set would be a #15. The #20 is the same razor in the leather-clad case with gold lining.

Best of luck with your trade!

    Hi and thanks,

It is a #20 razor iīll post pics tomorrow of the baseplate, the difference is in the henges. I donīt know much about the cases, but it might be a case for a #15 ?!

    Regards

I do like a bulldog handle! Is the #20 head (#15 or whatever) exactly like a Senator (except for the plating of course)? I like the way my Senator shaves, I bet this one is super sweet with the extra weight.

I had a quick look at www.mr-razor.com but could not find the difference in the hinges

It looks like the #20 has two extra (vertical) slots on the underside of the head where the hinges are. The #15 does not have these.

Take a picture of the underside of the head so we can make sure of this please.

The "extra" slots accommodate the wings on the end of the blade guide - notched v. no-notch - but I think that's evolution (as with the US Gillettes), not a design difference.
Or, I could be wrong!! Again, nice razor and good luck!

You are right about that. I guess it comes down to the case to decipher the difference between the #20 and #15.
