Kriegar and master cutlery

Are these straights decent? I see them on Ebay BIN all the time for less than $15 and was wondering if it's worth trying. Some say 440 stainless steel, others are carbon steel. Has anyone used one of these or know anything about them? Thank you gentlemen.

Regards,

They are on the Do not buy list over at SRP and are most likely made in pakistan. I've yet to meet someone who has gotten a good shaver that was made in pakistan.

Don't bother with them. I've never bought one, but I've seen posts by others who have tried to sharpen them without any luck. Bad steel.

I bought one because I liked the look of it and hadn't read enough posts on straights to know any better but it's complete garbage. I later bought a dovo special and it's a complete different story.

Those are junk! If you're looking for an under valued razor $10-30 get a Gold Dollar (formally Double Arrow). The scales are cheap but the blades imo are outstanding for the price. They take an edge very nicely, even HHT (hanging hair test) approved. The srp link is very informative and 59pgs long. If you want a list of ebay vendors selling it, then PM me since we're not allowed to post ebay links.
