Coffee Tastes Like Plastic?

we had the exct same problem, but it was on a new machine - right out of the box!!
we tried several different flavors and cup sizes; ended up taking the unit back to BBY; gave the coffee to friends who have the same machine - well they thought we were nuts for taking it back but we are coffee snobs i guess you'd say;
well, they tried the coffee we gave them - they said it tasted plasticy to them too - but then their unit died 2 days later;;
so no k cups or t cups for us; just good old fashioned drip or brewed or pressed from here on out!
