    Default An interesting style

I've always liked this style of brush , and with my current case of BAD just had to have one. Ivory with Black/Amber swirl handle and base. Cut out mirrors handle shape. 22 Best Knot. Height , 5 inches to base of knot.

It is not really my style of brush, but it does look good. Nice pick-up!

Thank you. I didn't so much pick it up as much as I actually made it last night.

Beautiful job. The style of both the brush and the holder are breathtaking.

Looks nice... I would like to get around to trying a long handled brush one of these days.

Thank you gentlemen. As ususal your replies are more than generous.
I just used it this AM. Sweet.
I'm just trying to catch up to some of the collections I've seen posted here and satisify my case of BAD. And in an effort to keep my better half happy I try to create something she won't object to seeing "cluttering " the bathroom.
The other part of the story is I'm doing it for myself. I like the freedom to do what I want to see and have. And these fit the bill for me.

I used the Ivory and a Black/orange swirl to make this. Truthfully it was a bugger to do. Fought me the whole night long. A comedy of errors. 3 AM I called it done.

I'm a wood turner (spindle turner) by trade. Do you cut or scrape ivory? Natural finish?
I have never played with anything very exotic, usually just the run of the mill materials used in furniture and stairways.

    Firehydrant,
Like most "Ivory" used today this also is synthetic along with the base and handle mateial. This finish is the natural outcome of the stuff.
As I said, this stuff can be a bugger to work. It can shatter like glass in fragments. I'm still feeling my way along seeing how far I can push it .Learning as I go.

I must share this eloquent sentiment. Your work is simply extraordinary. I have never seen this design before. It is a work of art.

That is a real beauty! You could probably make a little pocket money if you started selling those.
