Default first de shave, need more patience

so my flying eagle today and decived to take her for a spin, with an astra stainless
all in all not a horrible shave, more irritation and blood spots, than when using a fusion but i think its cause im still learning
i cut myself on my upper lip but that was my own dumb fault, i turned my head and the razor was on my face
i think i also shouldnt have tried out a new soap at the same time and should have just stuck to changing one thing at i time
but its so easy to get excited when theres many options at hand right

i kinda wish my my facial hair would grow abit faster so i could shave sooner

Welcome to B&B. I'll second the take your time and go slow. Once you get it down things will progress quickly.

Take a look at Mantic's video's on shave technique. They will be a big help.

Welcome and take it easy. My goal when I first started was to have less facial hair after shaving and the same amount of skin. Things will get better!

The process isn't as easy as buying ice cream, takes time. You will get there eventually. Things that you can pratice outsid shaving, your lather and shopping for razors/shaving products!

Only change one thing at a time, slow down, and enjoy the shave.
