Does anyone know of any polish/method that is safe on the gold wash on the face or spine of many str8 razors these days? I know that MAAS takes it right off.
Inputs will be appreciated
Thanks,

THis may be a "try at your own risk" but i found a very mild silver polish that works great on gold plating as long as you don't scub it in and just do a mild polish with it. Its called Wright's silver cream and it can be found at walmart. You may want to try it on something old first
glad you asked the question, i was wondering the same thing, so it appears a good thing that i prefer an unmarked blade and it will not be so difficult for me to remove it.
I do not think there is one.
Nothing that I've found. Gold wash is not exactly tenacious.
You are smarter than me my friend. But I've got 2 that I need to figure out what to do with (as far as polish)

I Hope you were not offended by my post, I was sincere in my thanks as i posted the complete flip side of that question a few days ago and was merely thanking you.

Has anyone tried those ultrasonic jewelry cleaners?
I've seen them at Bed Bath and Beyond, and I believe they're supposed to be very gentle.
