Dad's old brush
Sorry if this has been posted before, but dear old Mom gave me Dad's old shaving brush he used before I was born. All I remember him using was canned goo and a Super Speed, then an electric when he got older.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to any info. on these types of brushes. I'm sure it's something cheap that Dad picked up in a drug store or five and dime sometime in the '40s or '50s.
I showed Mom my old type razor and asked her if she remembered one like it; she said Dad had a 3 piece like that but it didn't have the 3 knobs, just the screw in one. Since he was in the Battle of the Bulge maybe it was an old Tech like he had in the service. Mom said that when something new came out he would get that and throw the old one away. Oh well.
The only markings on it are unreadable. Any info. on this mongrel of a brush would be greatly appreciated.

I walked into an antique store the other day and found myself in a conversation with the owner on how we used to use the items that he had for sale.
True story. In other words: You know you're getting old when you walk into an antique store and find yourself saying "I remember those."
