Safe Straight Shaving

Alacrity59

Wanting for wisdom
I've moved from DE to straight shaving since mid January. I'll just share some of my being stupid moves. I've been on several interviews the last couple of weeks. Well I wanted to make sure of a shave and not wanting to take a risk I went back to my Merkur 38C. . . crum . . . I managed to cut my ear in two places. . .

Then next interview . . . ok DE again . . . BBS shave but I finally remember what weepers means . . . my neck was like a Sunday before church shave 35 years ago . . . a tad bloody. I was glad I knew how to take care of it.

So . . . I was invited back . . . interview with an exec VP . . . so I used one of my two maybe 100 or so old razors I bought for well less than $20 bucks . . . no blood . . . maybe I will have this job.

I have found I am more prone to nick myself with DEs than straights and I think it is because I am concentrating less.

Good luck on the job!

They can tell your a real man from a mile away just by your confident shave. If they didn't hire you, they would be "girly men!"
