The only people I take advantage of is a Pawn Shop.

They likely gave 5.00 for the item they are selling for 25.00. It's worth 75.00.

I pity the guy that brought it in.

Yeah, I bought a $500.00 German HW air rifle from a pawn shop for $100.00 because they didn't that it was a Beeman R9 without the Beeman name and corresponding price rape.

I would buy the $5 dollar toggle. What I wouldn't do is buy and then run away yelling "sucker". She wanted $5, and got what she wanted. Why spoil that for her.

    Phil is 100% correct!!
I would do the same. Give them what they want and go home and see if it really is a mint find. Then sit back and feel good that for once, you got a deal.

When it comes to flea markets, my feeling is if it's nice, and they give me a price, that's what I'll pay. I won't haggle them down or even try to. I'll say "sounds good". I will also buy a cheap common razor for the chance at getting another one that is better by building a rapport. I mean, if you are going to all the trouble of piling into the Family Truckster and going to rent a table, you should at least check fleaBay for some "rough" prices. I say rough, because you have people who saw something go on there for $1000.00 and think that their less than poor version should go for that.

I think there are four items in this world that combined can solve any problem. They are: A pair of pliers, Duct Tape, paperclip/wire, and Barbicide.
