Default Wow what a huge difference...

I've been using a Merkur Chrome Futur for the past 2 years and have been happy as a clam. Never really thought of getting another razor, until I discovered this site. So I decided to expand my options and did some research on my next razor acquisition. I decided on an Edwin Jagger DE86 Black Handle. Picked one up two days ago. I loaded a new Merkur blade in the DE86. Wow...talk about a difference, its like wielding a claymore sword (Futur) to a Samurai (DE86), civilized and refined. I never compared the heft of the Futur to another DE in action. Really happy with this purchase.

A great razor, an EJ. You could never be disappointed with one of those.

+1. That's a match made in shaving heaven. Shark Chromes also are very nice with the EJ head, but the Feathers are sumpin' special!
