Default After asking dozens of times at dozens of antique stores...

Well it finally happened for me...went to a flea market and found Razors...

There were Gems, Gelets and others...I got a $10 1961 FatBoy It looks new...there were several Slims and 2 FlairTip SS...She had some brushes...but I was there to get a bike for my grand daughter...So I took the FatBoy and and a bike home and left the others for seed...I will shave with it in the morning...I will be going back to feed my RAD and maybe my BAD...

The finding of them was big time fun...

Congrats on the Fatboy. The others will probably be gone when you go back, at least that is what always seems to happen to me when I don't grab the goodies on the first round!

Yep perseverance ( obsession ?!? ) is the key. You can visit a shop/fair/market many times and find nothing , but that ONE time......

You'll also be more "attached" to those razors you find rather those you buy off BST/Ebay....

    Okay, here's another one.

I went to the local Sunday flea market today. Perfect weather for it, very busy place! Wandering around, I saw lots of stuff... which wasn't of interest.

Then I got to the table. She had a shaving mug and a scuttle. The scuttle had a defunct brush in it. The scuttle itself was nice. Bought it, brought it home.

It holds water without leaking! It gets warm. The brush is tossable, which isn't an issue. Total: $8.
Merkur 38C, Simpson Colonel X2L, Col Conk Almond just now, and one last Wilkinson Sword.
