Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood BURNED me up, BAD!!!

I'll tell yall what...

That T&H Sandalwood Shaving Cream sure does make a GREAT lather!

BUT IT BURNED MY FACE UP!!!

Tried it 3 days in a row now, and I had to switch to something else mid-shave. I know it was the cream because it burned me on places where I didn't even have the razor touch, like above my sideburns, my lips, and almost up to my eyes. It feels like BAD razor burn.

Has anyone had this problem before with this, or any other T&H products?

Any suggestions?

Maybe you are allergic to the fragrance? I suggest that you stop using that scent and sell or trade your tub of it. It's discontinued, so someone will want to buy it quick. Anyone can react to any cream, this just seems to be one that doesn't work for you. I get some mild irritation from a few creams that I have used including a couple of T&H but not the sandalwood. Nothing as bad as you are describing though and only on shaved areas.

Yeah, T&H Trafalgar did that to me. Not that bad, though. I actually barely noticed the reaction until my allergies flared up really bad over the winter.

Most of Taylors shave creams do this to me. You might want to trade it or sell it on the buy & sale forum.

I have the same reaction to Col Conk glycerin soaps!
I was blaming it on bad shaving techniques. Sheesh!
