Im new to wet shaving, just been back onto youtube to watch some of the mantic59 videos again and stumbled across this.

Hmmm, an electric cartridge shaver. I could not even guess what the carts would cost for that monster.

Beats using weasels. You don't have to feed it, and it'll still rip your flesh!

Wow, that thing does almost as many passes as Charles.

I tried Emjoi's triple-blade cartrdige "stick" razor (to borrow their term) a few years ago, and it sucked. This new electric gizmo appears to have taken three of those cartridges and put them on a rotating head. I can't imagine the shave would be any better than their previous razor, and would most likely be worse. For one, there has to be a guard in place to protect the skin, meaning the blades probably won't get all that close. Second, think of all the passes happening there - nine individual blade passes per rotation, and an infinite number of rotations per shave. Egads!

I just watched the video again: 270 strokes per second. Holy ouch, Batman.

I think I got an ingrown hair just from watching that video...

You can't get ingrown hairs unless you have skin for them to grow under!
