Ivan. "Crazy Fool".
If you can get it in Norther Ireland, I recommend Irish Moos. It is probably the most gentle soap I have.

The Body Shops Maca Root Shaving cream. The scent isnt too overpowering and it works really well. Thats if you can get it in Northern Ireland of Course
Palmolive cream? You can certainly buy that in Northern Ireland.
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap hands down!![]()
Beat Cop with a Paddle Strop
I don't know if you can get KMF cream. If you can then that might be another choice for a nautural and very slick cream.
Cheers!
Are there any requirements for needing the shave kit at school? atheletics courses or sport?

The Tabac should be fine, but I wouldn't let anyone use mine either.![]()

I suggest two fabulous shaving creams: Trumpers Coconut Oil and Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort.
Both are very slick, moisturizing, rich and suitable for sensitive skins.
If you want something cheaper, Proraso is an excellent choice.

Hmm, I've tried Ingram, the menthol kick was quite potent!
I can tell you that Col. Conk's Amber is a very mild glycerin soap. I find it easy to lather, it has almost no noticeable scent, but it seems to work quite well.
I've tried the Derby Menthol cream and found that to be a much more mild than Ingram, but some people find it hard to lather and in my experience that holds true with my boar brush.
Coming from another teenager, I don't think Tabac would be too strong for him. I wouldn't hesitate to use it if I was given a puck.![]()
+1 Nivea.
Since he's a teenager, he might like something like GFT's lime soap -- it might help reduce some of the oil on his face, if that's a problem for him.
Proraso Aloe-Green Tea Soap in a tub.![]()
A big +1 to that. After finishing(!) a tub of the Proraso green, I thought the Aloe - Green Tea formulation would be a bit of a let-down. Not even close: I think I enjoy this one more than the Menthol - Eucalyptus soap.
Super easy to whip into a lather, 5 months of everyday use from a tub that cost 8 bucks, what's not to like?
