    Smile Easter surprise

A while ago I discussed my quest and interest in collecting old razors with my Dad. Well I caught up with him over Easter and instead of giving me an Easter egg he gave me these................which he said he picked for next to nothing.

I am not a collecting aficionado yet so I would appreciate help with the ID's, but I think I have Gillette Red Tip, Gem and Gem travel razor, Gillette ?? and a Gillette Knack??

Looking forward to sharing the after photos.

    Cheers.

Yep, it's a Knack and I think an Old Type.

Is the Red Tip Brit or USA ??

The Brits had a "Rocket" ( gap between TTO when closed ) and a "Superspeed" ( no gap ) . If it's a Brit it's the rarer Superspeed

    Happy Easter DrBerko.

    Good on ya Dad !!!

The open comb is an old type. Nice score fella. Go get them cleaned up and lets have another look.

The two Gems are both 1912's. Great shavers!

Lovely Red-Tip you will enjoy it. The GEM's rock, I have not used the old Type yet so I cannot comment on it.
