    Default "Grooming Lounge" shave products?

Anyone here familiar with, or better yet, have reviews of shave products from the Grooming Lounge?

    1. Their prehave oil in particular looks interesting, and it looks remarkably lubricating in the vids I've seen. Opinions?

    2. They have a low foam shave cream which also looks interesting. Can it be used with a brush though? I assume it could be. They guy in their vids brings up a good point about the low foam cream, in that he emphasizes that the point of shaving cream is lubrication. He questions the logic of building thick lather on the face since the point is lubrication of the skin rather than building a barrier between the razor and the face/beard with lather/foam. This make sense to me i suppose, but would like to hear others opinions. Anyone?

    Thanks

UPDATE: Found some reviews by doing a search. Mixed feelings apparently. Although as much as people seem to hate the vids, the product reviews themselves were generally positive. At this time i am thinking i might just get the pre shave oil though, not sure. Suggestions/opinions still welcome.

Only one way to find out how they work friend. I saw the videos and they were nothing short of controversial here. I don't think the guy is a tool, but I am sure his products are not cheap. From the videos, the products seem to work great. Therein lies the problem. The guy who helped develop them uses them with great success. Without hearing about results and feedback from a test market I have no idea how they perform for others. Caveat emptor!

It's just my opinion, but Pre-Shave Oils, regardless of who makes them, are a waste of time. They are fully unnecessary if you lather is adequate. They also tend to gunk up your brush. In addition, they are also crazy expensive considering the ingredients (common oils ,and some sort of fragrance).

Low foam in my mind means a brushless cream. If it's not intended to generate a lather, it's rather pointless to use it with a brush.

It's also worth considering, there are so many truly wonderful products you have probably yet to try, why take a potential gamble on a product that is not well known on these boards?
