The shaving soap and cream came last week, but I decided to wait and post everything at once after the brush and razor came too.

Geo F. Trumper's Limes Shaving Soap
Vulfix Sicilian Lime Luxury Shaving Cream
    Gold & Chocolat Synthetic Brush
11/16 SuperUnknown Special (No brand name starter straight razor from LarryAndro) --Thanks Larry!!!

(The Mama Bear's Wooden Bowl was just a prop to hold up the razor. It did have some very enjoyable Bergamot shave soap in it until I used it up recently.)

Found this lot of nine straights and the advertisement at the General Store. Yeah, the Wester Bros boxes look like NOS, don't they? The dark spot in the ad is a shadow cast from something above. Sadly, this General Store is a museum, so no sales. It was fun looking though.

    Default Rotbart Mond-Extra

Just recieved my Rotbart Mond-Extra, cleaned and polished it.
I think it looks beautiful, but don´t know much about it...anyone ?

The handle looks amazing, and shines like silver ? maybe it is ?
The bottom of the head/the safetybar has some plate loss, but the top is almost mirror like!

only real sad thing : the head has broken of, so now this 2 piece is a 3 piece, it does not effect the shave or beauty of this german though !!

I have seen one in person. The one I seen only had 2 of the 7 razors and he wanted $140. Is that a good price?

Anwyways one like the one you have there can yield quite alot. Great score

Not shaving related as such but seeings as I had my Winston Churchill 1965 memorial coin embedded in the bottom of a shaving brush (thanks Bob) I thought that I'd better pick up another one. I managed to find one of the 24k gold plated ones so I grabbed it.

I went ahead and ordered a Dovo 6/8 with tortoise scales from Lynn at Straight Razor Designs. I sprung $20 for the tortoise because the blond scales may become discolored and pick up dirt over time. Plus I got free shipping, too.

I recall watching that auction and I think it only went for somewhere in the neighborhood of $140, so for one missing 5 of the razors, $140 seems like a bad price.
