Ok B&B, I've been putting my lurking skills to use and have been reading a little over the forum. I am trying to decide on a first DE Razor. This seems to be a pretty common question around here. The razors in question were the Merkur 38M or the Muhle R106. I was wondering if someone else around here has asked this before me.
Keep in mind I'm not dead set on these. I'm a college kid with expenses though, and these two seemed like a good starting point without breaking the bank.

Thank you very much for your help. I enjoy wet shaving with a Gillette Fusion, however I think this will be a little more fun

Welcome, I have not personally used either razor but both brands get respect around here. Once you choose one remember the sample pack of blades. Good luck.

Thanks =D I've seen both get positive reviews. I'll pick one and pick up a sample blade pack. Eventually get the other and compare the two. Either way I get that first time buyer rush

    Welcome to B&B!
As about the two razors mentioned, I can say that they are both excellent.
    Enjoy!

Welcome to B&B Mate.. And you are certainly correct.. Using a DE is alot more enjoyable than a Fusion would ever be!

Welcome!! And I will agree, even on a budget, you can get some major AD's. It might actually be more intense, because you end up bargain hunting and antique-store hunting. LOL
