Question on pipe tobacco

I have a quick question on a pipe tobacco blend- Cornell & Diehl - Purple Cow. Has anyone had any experience with this one? I have had a few C&D blends in the past, with mixed results. As a reference, my go-to blend is Esoterica Margate. Purple Cow is supposed to have cigar-like flavor and smell. Any thoughts or experiences?

I've never tried it. All I can tell you is that G.L. Pease's Robusto is really nice if you like cigar leaf.
