Default Looking for Non Tallow Soap with a clean soapy scent

Looking for shaving soap that has a clean, fresh, soapy scent and preferably non tallow based and I can put it in my mug.

    Any recommendations?

VAn Der Hagen Delux Shave Soap I do believe is a non tallow based and I think it smells soapy. but that is my opinion.

L'occitane CADE. Performs the same or better than most of the tallow soaps, and it's not tallow based. Nice soapy scent too.

    Erasmic (clean soapy)
Pre de Provence (clean, sage, soapy, w/ shea butter (I think))

As much as I love the mentioned soaps in this thread; Cade, PDP, VDH, "soapy" doesn't come to my mind.

Here are some "soapy" non-tallow choices, IMO.

    HBS Mountain Meadow
    Kingsley shave soap
    HBS Green Tea

I will admit that I have not tried Pre de Provence, though.

Another vote for pre de provence
Has a clean, fresh, mildly soapy scent, shaves great, and the shea butter provides a nice slick kind of protection.

I really enjoy my Truefitt and Hill unscented soap. Performs amazingly and I feel it has a 'fresh' smell as well.

Count me in with the group that votes for Pre de Provence. Comes in a nice tin, lathers up big, has a very clean fresh scent and has shea butter. I'd also recommend the after shave balm too - it has the same scent.
