    Default eShave soaps

Anyone have anything to say about this line of soaps? WCS has them on clearance, so I guess they probably weren't so hot. The mandarin scent does sound interesting though, as well as the avocado oil.

I was thinking of picking up a bare puck of something to slap into my Old Spice Mug from the great Old Spice Mug sale of '10 and came across these.

No personal experience, but you might read http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=86429 - and I see that Sluggo and Ookla recently posted to SOTD with eshave entries.

I've tried the lavender and think it's a great soap. I would suspect the other offerings would be of similar quality.

They are good soaps, but they just don't get the exposure like other soaps.

The eShave soaps are every bit as good as the other veggie French soaps - such as Provence Sante and Pre de Provence.

I believe John is dropping the entire eShave line at WCS, which shouldn't imply that the soap isn't any good.

Of course it's dark, it's a suicide note.

I have eShave's Mandarin soap and it rocks. Great soap w/creamy, protective lather.

Re the scent: I get more floral notes from it than anything else. There might be just a hint of citrus but it's really a flowery smell overall. Very understated -- not overpowering.

    Highly recommended!

The eShave Lavender is a quality soap. I paid too much for my puck, but at Johns current prices, it's a decent deal.
    I don't feel middle aged...
