Default TV special and Muhle R89

Here are two razors that I would like to find good homes for.

    1) TV special, which I wanted to like, because its my birth year and birth quarter (D3) but it just too small for my large hands. Its in pretty good condition, doors open and shut nicely, little or no plating wear, and it shaves great. Comes with 5 Derby Extra blades. $20 Pending

    2) Muhle R89 razor, which I also really wanted to like but I found I like my good old cheap Merkur 23c better. Call me weird. Anyway, its practically brand new and I only shaved with it about ten times. This comes with 5 Gillette 7 oclock yellow blades. $35 SOLD

    CONUS shipping included.

EDit to Add: To sweeten the deal for the TV Special, I am throwing in a couple samples of shaving cream, and a really cool tupperware razor blade holder as shown below.

FWIW dept. - I got this same Muhle razor about a week ago and tried it with a Super Iridium blade and Muhle Sea Buckthorn soap. (The Iridium is a great blade for me in most razors.) I might have put my razor on the market too except I tried again with Speick soap and a red IP. Wow! Night and Day. What a winning combo for me. A really close, really smooth shave. Good luck on your sale, and though YMMV rules, this razor is capable of really delivering.

    Good luck with both sales.

My Mühle R89 arrived about ten days ago. I went straight into a honeymoon phase, and haven't emerged yet. Perhaps I've been hypnotized by the chrome and fancy knurling, but the shaves have been great too.

No don't get me wrong, the R89 is an awesome razor. Its just that the 23c is more awesome - at least to me.

I wonder the same thing. It is a really cool holder and looks pretty functional.
