I am feeling the excitment in my loins. Bring on the watch!!!!!
Knowing very little except reading the clock about watches, this will be a twist to keep running watch?

YMMV? I don't think so.

Gents, unless we get more members ordering this watch, it's not going to happen. In another thread we had over 100 watches spoken for but currently we only have 27 ordered. Let's make this happen.
No I just ordered it.
Why isn't there a stampede to get these watches now, after over 110 votes essentially pledging to buy one? This watch is such a good deal, it's almost a gift at this price.
I voted for one and ponied up for one the very first day it was offered for sale.

So did I
This is a fantastic deal; I sent a PM and offered to purchase a second, if I could select consecutive serial numbers.
This really is a GREAT deal, and supports B&B.
I understand that occasionally circumstances change, but can not believe so many gentlemen would renege on their pledge.![]()
Apologies for my slackness gentlemen, I will be arranging payment in the comming days!
Cheers, Paul
Do we have a mockup picture of the strap color/design? I don't know much about watches but I'm trying to convince myself that I need a new watch...and I definitely don't have an idea of how a white ostrich strap will look with this watch...
I ordered mine today. Looks like a knock-out watch. I was just wondering how many have been ordered?

Joel (and others) have done a phenomenal job of getting this watch deal set up. Here, many of us thought that we would have to pay nearly $1000.00 for a watch of this caliber, not to mention a custom made, limited edition watch. But some how they have pulled it off. Thanks for all your hard work!
So now, those of you who are teetering on the fence, you can't let this deal pass you by. I encourage you order today!

nick, hopr i di the order properly -- checked out with a gift certificate for the watch plus shipping -- just wait till the watches are made for now, then redeem?
The check out process is a little tough, and I had a few problems, but eventually worked it out (at least I hope I did, I do have an order confirmation). As to the value of this watch, it is selling at a very attractive price, especially considering the quality of the ETA Movement. As I mentioned earlier, I have a Swiss Army watch with the identical movement, its about 4 years old, gets rather heavy use, and is deadly accurate, and trouble free.
I'd say skip the next $300 razor on E-Bay (since you probably have at least 5 of the same razors already), and go for this watch. It is a very good investment from the point of view of having an every day watch.

I've thrown my name in the lot... Hope we can get it going!

Gentlemen,
Don't miss this opportunity. Today I received Fred's black-faced officer's watch. The craftsmanship, size, weight, movement, etc is exceptional for this price! It would be an enormous shame to let this opportunity pass.
Take care,
Rik

So when are we going to know if this thing is a go? I skipped on a recent Christopher Ward sale to purchase the B&B watch and it now sounds in jeopardy.
