Ok bit of an odd name for a thread i know, i went to newquay today and lo and behold i saw a merkur in the window ooh i thought anyway went inside and lo and behold a tiny choice but man, see such things i have never seen in my county, ever.
They had vulfix creams, proraso and musgo, they had three dovo straights one stainless one swedish steel and the other being a very sweet pearlex straight in swedish steel and for a very keen price.
They did sell only merkur blades so i will catch the guy who got this setup and try to get him to stock other brands.
They also had some merkur that was a copy of a superspeed, ambassador i think? anyway quality was so-so but still nice to see a butterfly razor, they also had a long and short hd and the travel de.
Have any of you folk just been in complete surprise when having such a find, i was like a kid in a candy shop and couldn't get enough!!!
Oddly this shop is an old tobacconists, selling pipes and zippo lighters and many other things.

Just a backwater county but this is the first time i have seen such bits in a shop, really caught me by surprise apparently the owner is into his razors which bodes well.
