I expressed my displeasure at this with a quiet "darn it".
I don't care what anyone else says, that's my story and I"m sticking to it.

Still a PR for weight and reps though.
 
Week 8 testing one rep squat.

Well I now know what my one rep squat is, 413 apparently.

Not really looking forward to the new year and going back to doing more than one rep
 
Week three testing max deadlift

Deadlifts to 495+

I could have gotten the 500 except for three things. 1. my vacation diet and sleep patterns 2. my butt came up first 3. for some stupid reason I did 50 double unders in the warm up.

I don't know what I was thinking with those double unders, first damn conditioning work this month and I choose today to do it.
 
Two hours of crosscountry skiing, skating, good snowconditions but a bit windy in the open areas.
Hope for some new snow tonight and time for a trip tomorrow morning, before the rest of
the family wakes up.

Hard to believe I was squatting 405 for these a mere two weeks ago. I'm looking forward to when the christmas vacation is worked off and out.

One near death experience on the walk to the gym as I almost got taken out by snow and ice coming off a roof down town.
