Feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things. I'm up to 2 mile jog (albeit not a very fast pace) on the treadmill, so my foot/anterior tibialis seem to be close to full strength. I threw some light squats in for this reason (haven't squatted anything but BW in six months) and it seemed fine, although I didn't go past 265. I think I'm ready for a full volume leg workout this week (fingers crossed!). Eventually I would like to return to a push/pull or upper/lower split and hit everything 2x per week, but I'm sticking with a 4 day chest/tri, back/bi, shoulders/traps/abs, legs split until my work capacity is back to normal.
4 weeks in a row to the gym, this could be a record for me in 2013. Up till this point it's get in for a week or so, get sick, recover, get in for a week or so, get sick etc. etc.
3 mile run with hills (training for a tough mudder) preceded by climbing ropes with prussik cords (rope rescue training) 30+ feet four times. Mid-air pick-offs 3 times...it's gonna be an early night after surfing B&B shower and a couple beers. Thought about doing some insanity but quickly came to my senses!
