2 hours last night of cutting apart the neighbors tree that the wind blew down yesterday. There's a tree service coming in later to take it and the other 3 falls in his yard away.

Well, today will be a weight workout down at the gym... Yesterday was twenty minutes and just over two miles of interval training... And the day before that was a three-mile hike at Amicalola Falls and then some core work. I was feeling lazy today, but hopefully this thread has gotten me motivated... :)

ETA: And sure enough, I did my workout... great weight workout!

    Bench build up to 170

    95,115,135,150,160,170

I found that if I get a lift before it gets heavy my shoulders are much happier with me.

    Something vaguely resembling

    30 Snatch, 135 lbs

    3:39

I planned on 115 but apparently I was especially pathetic at it and they dropped me to 95.

    Lunchtime workout:
    15 min elliptical warm-up
    2 sets neutral grip pull-ups 10/8
    2 sets chin-ups 6/5

    dumbells:
3 sets each, alternating: 50lb (each) bench press (8/7/5) 40lb (each) incline bench press (8/7/5)
3 sets each, alternating: 45lb (each) oblique side bends (8/8/8), 30lb decline bench ab crunch (30/30/25)
3 sets each, alternating: 30lb (each) hammer curls (8/7/6), 25lb (each) seated shoulder press (8/6/4)
3 sets each, alternating: 25lb (each) curls (8/8/7), 25lb (each) tricepts - french press (9/8/6)
about 1 minute farmers walk (for calves) w/ 50lb (each)

Total workout time: about 1 hour

This is my first post in this thread. Hope it makes sense.

This is roughly my routine 3 days/week (Tue, Thu, Sun). I've re-committed, and have stuck to it for a few weeks now. My short-term goal is to add 3 alternating days of cardio to help shed some body fat.

Issues that sometimes complicate my workouts: torn left bicept still healing, tendonitis in the inside of each elbow/crook of arm, lower back strain, occassional inguinal hernia

We have a 10-day vacation next month, and I'm hoping that it doesn't throw me into a tailspin!

    Cheers!

    20 Chinups

    Olympic lifting, ran intervals.

I could have sworn that I posted this last night. Am I dreaming now about posting on B&B? Did I post it in the wrong thread?

I did about a three and a half mile hill run tonight--uphill out and downhill back. Didn't get started until late, but it was a beautiful run under the full moon. About half a mile into it, I almost stepped on a mongoose that was busy doing something or other on the sidewalk--that gave my adrenaline a boost.
