Before I laid off the upper body to let an injury heal I was doing a lot of bodyweight exercises too. Love it! I just like to supplement it with some free weights for the shoulders.

tonight was pickup basketball, then 35 minutes on the treadmill---walking 13% incline at 4.0 mph.

I ran 10 miles on Wed (split 5 in the a.m. and 5 in the p.m.).

    I took Thursday off.

Ran 5 miles Fri a.m. and did an upper body circuit Fri p.m.

Today will be a total body circuit and then I'm taking Sunday off because I have to work...

I was finally able to get back to the gym today after taking a couple weeks off because of sciatica and a crazy schedule. Didn't do much, but it felt good to do a bit of lifting. Afterwards, I ran 4.6 miles.

4.6mi is quite a respectable run after not doing anything for a "couple of weeks".

Got in an easy 25 mile bike ride. I wish I could completely rid myself of this sciatica. It's driving me nuts.

Sore leg feeling better-back to Olympic lifting today. Squats are still pretty light, but no pain.

Finished with half an hour of intervals on the stairmaster.

45 mile bike ride, included a 8.2 mile hillclimb TT (inter-club race up a local hill). Pinned a number on for the first time in 8 years, lol...
Beat my unofficial time from last year by 6:20. Still 10:00 off my racing friends pace

Ran three miles on a new trail today and finished with body weight exercises. This is going to be my routine for the next two weeks--no gym access while I'm in Tokyo.

    Yup!

Six mile run tonight. I need to start running a different route. Been doing the same one for two years. I'm not tired of it, but I would like to try something different...

Last night, chest, back and small ab workout. Right into 3 mile run. Either bike or rest today, still not sure.
