Broke the medium height pullup bar (apparently a bit more conditioning work may be in order)

Deadlifts to 460x5

Couldn't quite lock out the last rep. I even tried to shimmy shake the sob up, had to set it down though as things were getting a bit too dark for my liking.

Still a PR for reps though.

Ending the week with back to back failures wasn't an option so I channeled my inner meathead and loaded up 260 and got a PR for weight and reps. Now I just have to avoid the coaches for a while. :biggrin1:
 
Took a few long days off and deservingly pigged out.

First day back with some Chest

Incline Dumbbell Press 4 x 10

Week five testing one rep squat.

220,260,300,340,380, then peer pressure took over, 405F, 405 PR

Was supposed to be 400 this week but one coach had her back turned and the other was doing a intro session so....

A little more technique and a little less brute force and ignorance would have helped on this one.

Only reason no one heard me swearing was that one of the guys doing cleans was swearing louder at the time. I don't mind failing because it's too heavy like last week but failing due to crappy technique annoys the you know what out of me.

Plan B time. Make a run for 500 and beyond.
