The marital arts are indeed challenging. I can't understand those who insist on taking more than one wife, surely, one is more than enough?

No workout for me today, I've been helping a mate tear down non-load-bearing walls in his apartment, as well as knocking down the fireplace and removing the cast floor in the bathrooms and the wooden floors in the rest of the apartment over the weekend that was.

    Squats to 325 x 5
    180,215,250,285,305,325

Made 325 more difficult then necessary by having issues keeping my chest up.

    15-12-9 reps of:
    Snatch (95 pounds)
    Chinups

    8:35

I thought going into this one it was going to suck. I wasn't disappointed.

I'm not so much a "power lifter". I play rugby (I'm the #18), and do strength training for that.

    Back to it.......

    P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps + Ab Ripper X

Paid a little for my sloth last week..every fourth week of P90X is a "recovery" week, you still have workouts but it's more core & cardio, basically stuff I don't enjoy as much! Just going to have to suck it up and do them anyway next time I think

Rugby is one tough game. I played American Football. But at 51 now I just stick to my power lifting with some modifications to help me get around close to 34 years of abuse to my body

Yesterday - 3mi treadmill run followed by DL 2x15, stepups 2x15, db overhead press 2x15, close-grip asstd chinups 2x15, pushups 2x15. And some swiss ball ab work. I was quite exhausted after this, but not nearly as wiped out as I thought I might be.

    Press to 120
    65,80,90,100,110,120 x3

    AMRAP in 10 minutes of:
    3 Power Cleans (205 pounds) subbed 185
    400m Run

    5 rds

Had a foot race with one of they guys back the last 200m. Reallydumb idea of mine in that heat and humidity. I did beat him though. Not too upset at the failure today at press considering how wonderful my shoulders felt after last nights snatches.

I think American football would be much tougher than rugby!

Paradoxically, it's all that armour you guys wear. That allows you to tackle flat out with your head. Nobody would do that in rugby unless they had a death-wish.

You do have a point there. We did have an Ambulance on call at all our games and it got utilized pretty often . We did get carried away literally and figuratively.
