    Default Gillette Red tip

    I have 2 Red Tips. Love them both, great razors & seem to shave the same. However 1 has 2 +'s on the back,both sides of the handle, and the other does not. Does anyone know what the 2 +'s mean?

    The story I've read was that it was intended to help tell them (the base plates) apart from the regulars and the blues (which had 0's at the time). Some red tips have them, so don't (as you've found).
