    Smile Horse Hair Shaving brush

Just won a Horse Hair brush on ebay. The brush is made in Pakistan and a picture is enclosed. Does anyone have any information on this particular brush or any Horse Hair brushes. Yes I am familiar with the Anthrax issues dating from WWII? This brush is 5" tall and the brush portion is 2".

It looks very much like one of the Beacon brushes sold by Shave-a-Buck.

Thanks for the info - Just went to their site and I think you hit it correctly the brush handle looks identical to the variety sold on Shave-a-Buck, just a slightly different color.

    Default Horse Hair

I have one of these brushes and it is a Shave a Buck. You will love the knot it has a great feel. Softer than a boar stiffer than badger. This brush provides great lather.I think you will really enjoy it.My knot has lost a lot of hair.

    Default horse hair

I have the short handle in orange and a black knot.
The knot ran a bit but went away.It feels great but if it keeps loosing hair at this rate it will soon be bald.I dont think the base of the knot has any epoxy
to hold the hair.I do like the horse hair it is a neat feel .I am sure the vendor will take care of this brush .I just hope they are not all made this way.
