    Default Older Gillette Compatability?

Sorry no pics, but I found a really nice older Gillette 'Double-Ring' I believe they're called?, (cant' tell you where, my secret!) for $4.50, Really nice condition, but can you still get blades for it? Can you use Current Blades for it? I'd really like to try it out, but I'm not sure if you can even still use 'em 'cause of blades. any help would be great!

You will be able to get blades for it, assuming it is what you say. Does it look like the one in the recent thread about a double ring? If so, then you can definitely still get blades for it.

It's like the one here, http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=137652 , but shorter and brass. it looks pretty nice.

People use modern DE blades in these with success. As with any unfamiliar razor, start carefully.

Shorter and brass ... hmm ... Does it look like this one : http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index...lette_Tuckaway . Whatever it actually may be, if it says 'Gillette' on it, then you'll be able to get blades that will work without any difficulties.

Yes, It looks just like that with a fine knurl grip.

Modern DE blades will work with it? Well then I'll give it A Try!

Yes. Modern blades will work just fine. It's a bit of an aggressive razor, but with some care and patience, you should be able to do well with it. Post some photos when you get it. We love seeing photos of recent acquisitions. : )
