Proraso Shave Cut Gel

Anyone try this? I haven't read or heard much about it, but it sounds interesting. I get a lot of weepers, and alum block and witch hazel doesn't always help much. I can hold an alum block on a weeper for 30 seconds, come back in 5 minutes at there's still blood.

You could also try putting saliva on a cut and it is supposed to help stop the bleeding. I even watched a video a while back that interviewed someone who worked for Proraso and this Proraso salesman said he only uses saliva

YOU might want to give that a try, but *I* sure won't. Human saliva is not exactly sanitary. After a couple of MRSA abscesses in the house, I'm all about sanitary conditions, you know what I mean?

I have a tube of the stuff. It took a lot of backtracking for me to remember where I'd ordered it from, but here you go: http://barclaycrocker.com.

Applying the gel with precision is the tough part. Most weepers are very small, and your finger just seems to big. The gel stops bleeding, but I saw no real advantage with Proraso's gel over a styptic or the one I like, which is called My Nick is Sealed.... a liquid roll-on styptic.

If you want my Proraso gel, PM me with details. I'll send it to you, free. It's practically unused. I just don't cut myself much anymore.
