    Ok I got it.........

And this is by far the less drying of the alcoholic splashes !!!!!

Even Proraso splash is pale in comparison (but that's my opinion)

I think it's because it has much glycerin and less alcohol thant the other alcohol splashes.

It also has allantoin, dimthicone, B5, castor oil

    Super cooling, OMG.

And I love the scent; fresh, modern and manly.

I still have to moisturize a lot afterwards because I have a dry skin and I'll use it more during the hot and heavy/humid summer days, but this is certainly the only alcohol based A/S Ì'll consider using

    Plus, I like the bottle

It is has a thick consistency and is quite moisturizing, similar to Musgo Real. I don't find it very cooling though. On a scale of 1-10, Osage Rub being a 10, I'd put Aqua Velva at 7, and this would be about a 3. Not much alcohol in it, so it doesn't sting like some other splashes. I'm not sure how I'd describe the scent, but it's not one of my favorites. The bottle is nice, so when I run out, I'll peel of the sticker and put something else in it. I doubt I'll buy it again.

It is thicker and more "gooey" than most splashes, less watery.

If find it to be cooling, but it may be due to the fact that I splash my face with cold water beforehand, so the Nivea must pick up the effect of the cold water rinse.

And yes, the bottle is nice.

Mmm, how much are they selling it for? Probably around the same price than the balm?

Hey, thanks for the review! I actually think I may grab a bottle once I finish the Nivea Replenshing ASB I use (which moisturizes quite well).

Love the look of the bottle, and it may just turn out to be great for summertime!

I'm still confused though, this is a gel right? So is it similar to the other Nivea balms?

It's a true splash, but thicker, less watery than traditional splashes
It is loaded with glycerin and castor oil, and seems to have less alcohol.

I just read the review. Is this a mix of balm and splash? Is it oily?

    Splash only

    But thicker

It's not oily on me; I think it would be perfect for normal-oily skinned folks

    Nice find, thanks!
Would you rate this in between Soothing (Sensitive) & Replenishing in the moisturizing department?
I guess it's not an unscented/mildly scented splash then?

Ok, so I got the Nivea splash yesterday.

The bootle is nice, but the opening is narrow and it takes longer than usual to ger your dose of AS out of it.
Is is not super cooling, I would say it's bellow average.
The fluid is really "thick" and feel sticky on the skin. The stickyness stays for a long time and it's even harsd to get off the hands. For this reason, it's impossible to combine this AS with a moisturising balm.
The scent is fresh, but very faint.

I don't recomend this franken-AS to anyone. Save the money for something else, more worth it.

    Maybe closer to the replenishing

The scent is not overpowering at all

    To each his own

My skin is not oily, so I welcome the thickness

And I don't have a hard time getting it off my hands
