PS : I've still got to explain the unauthorised Ebay purchase of the straight razor and paddle strop to the wife. I'm gonna tell her the straight razor is a letter opener and the strop is a new door stop for the spare room, thus avoiding any link to shaving. Dunno if I'll get away with it ..what do you think ?

No shave Sunday so double the stubble in the basin - love that Monday shave. Some smiles from the regular ladies on the bus. Life's good.

had a little trouble on the bottom of my neck (the area below the adam's apple) mostly on the left side but some on the right. Two or three angry red spots (no bleeding, though)...so i decided for the proraso pre/post after the alum to help things settle down a bit. Face is feeling fine now, but the little angry spots are there...brooding.
