Hand and Body lotion the same as aftershave moisturizer?

I have been considering the idea of using a hand and body lotion as an aftershave moisturizer. Is there a difference between a facial moisturizer and a hand and body lotion? If so is it too great to use as an aftershave?

Hand and body lotion is usually a lot thicker than a facial moisturizer., it'll probably be to greasy and heavy for your face.
