Picked up my first badger brush. After using it for a week all I can say is, "Hello, you're my new girlfriend". Never going back to a boar brush. Using a badger and a Arko shave stick to face lather gave me great results. The lather is richer, creamer and easy to apply. It is just "smooth". Another plus to this brush is the handle. Part of it is flat which your thumb rest against. Ergonomically, it is quite comfortable in the hand.
As mentioned in my thread title the brush is a Dovo Micarta Silver tip. I picked it up at Leavitt & Peirce in Harvard Square. List price is $99.95 which is a good deal compared to most on-line vendors.
