Sooner or later, one of my fellow mods may take up the duty of selecting the contenders. For now (and for better or worse) the pictures reflect my tastes. That said, I had more than 24 pictures make it to the final round. If polls weren't limited to 12 choices, 95% of the 24+ would have made it to the contest.
Not easy choices to make.
