Default Trade my DE Razors for Straight Gear?

Fellows I have a problem. I have RAD and although I thought I was in remission it has progressed. I have seen Joel’s straight shaving video and really want to try it...I can’t help it. Unfortunately I have been laid off with no real end in sight. As such I would like to trade this entire group of DE’s for Straight “stuff”. All the razors show normal wear except what I have noted contrary. I figure that the sum of these razors would fetch about $115.00 if sold as they are (I am not one to polish razors with a Dremel to inflate my prices I am seeking shave Nirvana not profit). I hope to trade em all in a group?

Have a shave ready straight you’d trade? Could you spare an extra strop? Live near me and provide a razor and basic stropping and hone instruction? Can’t hurt to ask right! I will leave this as a trade offer for a week. Anything left after that will be kept.

I should mention before any of you wags ask: No the Waugh books are not included! I am poor with the camera (I apologise) and needed contrast. Each book title has a connection to the razor though!
    Thank you for looking!

Gillette Tech 2nd Quarter 1969 made in England. Finish is ok, small knick on base of handle,
almost translucent water stain on head. Small dent on cap on end of handle (dropped in a sink probably).
About as easy going and uncomplicated as a razor can be.

Undated made in England Gillette Tech. Lighter than the first Tech and a smidge shorter. Possibly made of Aluminum?
Apart from my one test shave I doubt if this razor was ever used.

Gillette USA, 1972 S2 Black Long Slim Adjustable. My first DE! Nice quality of the finish on this razor.
Only detraction, it missing the black in the numbers on the adjuster dial. I learned to DE/Wet shave with this one for many months,
very forgiving and a good looker.

1940's made in England Gillette Rocket. This provides an excellent shave and has a very good finish.
Has a minor touch of brassing on each end of the bar between the silo doors. My favourite shave of this bunch!
The mechanism on this and the Parat will boggle your mind!

Gillette Parat made in England for export (Germany I believe?). It is marked ii on bottom, also Brit Pat. 694083. Very Good finish.
Has minor touch of brassing on each end of the bar between the silo doors.
The mechanism moves as if it is perfectly machined and lubed with grease.
    Smooth and very satisfying!

Gillette made in England Flair Tip Rocket. Pat. 694083. Discolouration on handle.
Mechanism smooth, doors lock tight, shaves well.

The Loved one indeed! Working man’s 1959 E2 Gillette Fatboy. One door is lazy and doesn't close firmly (lifts a millimetre).
Number five on adjuster dial missing black. Has Small scuff on one side cap. Still provides satisfactory shaves!
    ...maybe you can mend her?

Two Gillette Canadian-made Wide Handle Techs. 1932 pat stamped.
I like these better than the slimmer Techs.
The handles are comfortable and the finish is good. Minor, yet typical wear from light use!

Bump and Update...Those who inquired about sale instead of trade thank you, I am waiting on a trade for a few more days I will keep you all posted.

I also need to update the pictures...silly me didn't shake the Maas bottle first time I used it...I wondered why the results were poor! All water marks etc are gone and the Parat and Rocket in particular are mirror like.

Anyone with a Straight out there? I can sweeten the pot with a large number of blades if that helps? Let's just say I have Feathers and SOME Astra's
