    Default More Help

Well I settled on a razor a 40's era Super Speed, I use Truefitt Shaving oil as a pre-shave, and Taylor's Avocodo shaving cream. I'm now past the razor burn and rashes and i no longer look like a bloody mess after I shave. I always seem to have patches of stubble on my neck after I shave WTG, XTG-L,XTG-R, and ATG. I clean up with my Fusion razor. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong/ It seems when I go over the patches with the DE I can never get them clean. I switched from Merkur to Wilkenson blades. I'm sticking with the Wilkenson until I get my routine down pat. I do have a large
    sampler package of blades.
    Stay thirsty, my friend

If you're not getting great results with the WS blades try a different type. Super Speeds are mild enough that you might be better with a Derby or even a Feather.

Agree. If you are past the irritation stage you probably have a good lather and need to concentrate on some of your technique - mainly angle and direction.

Try the Derby and experiment with direction first and maybe a little with angle. Do not try and get closer with more pressure, however, or irritation and other things might return! Just my opinon - good luck!
