Default Man, this Musgo Real splash is awesome!

I bought this splash last summer for the 1st time. I wore it a few times right after I got it, then somehow it got shuffled to the back of the pile and I pretty much forgot about it.

I broke it out this AM for the 1st time in months, splashed a little on my still damp face, and it just feels great!
I don't have the ingredient list, but it must contain some allantoin, aloe or some other face goodies in it because my face is toned, smooth and hydrated.

    And it smells great too

Back to the front of the pile!
    ---------

Everyone has their favorites but very few can deny Musgo as being one of the best.

Musgo is probably the most skin friendly aftershave splash out there. It also has a truly wonderful fragrance. I love the stuff.

I had some free time with my family out of town about a month ago. I went exploring for shaving supplies and came across a luxury goods store that was cleaning out some inventory. To my surprise they had some Musgo aftershave splash at 1/2 off so I quickly purchased it. Like some kind of drug addict, I got to my car and opened up and got a whiff of that heavenly stuff. It's since prompted me to buy some shave cream and aftershave balsam which happened to arrive today. I can't wait until tomorrow to go Full Musgo. I'm also worried that once I go Full Musgo I'll never be able to come back.

Great stuff! I use it to fix the occasional bad shave. Soothes and smells wonderful.

Hmm....I'll have to pay attention how I apply it. It's always been heaven sent for me so I guess wet it is.

Maybe I'll take a walk on the wild side and do after my face dries.

good shave, bad shave, it's the scent of kings. i have to say it's my favorite aftershave out of many and more importantly, my wife's favorite too.

the shave cream and as balm are also excellent. sadly, i was really disapointed in all three of the musgo real colognes...g'luck!

Does the AS splash also contain lanolin like the SC? My face apparently does not get along with the SC. It appeared that the splash didn't do it any favors either.

It's a shame too, because I really do like the scent and feel that both are extremely moisturizing.

As expected, my Musgo Aftershave Balsam and Cream arrived yesterday and today I used the two and the Splash that I've had for a while. The shave cream was excellent. Great lather that I did a decent job of whipping up (clearly, I'll get better after 1-2 more tries) and a wonderful clean scent. I can see this one in the rotation and never escaping. The Balsam, which has a scent alot like the splash, was wonderful as well. What caught me off guard with that was that I used what I thought would be a small amount and it was clearly waaaaaay too much. I like that in a product and it was unexpected. Again, next time it will be the right amount and I'll have a better perspective. As for the splash, I've gotten used to that and it's a winner all around. It instantly became one of my favorites because it smells great and it lasts a long time. If only the Proraso splash lasted as long, but that's a whole different subject. I'm now a huge Musgo fan.

Yes, a little of the balm goes a long way. Much thicker than Proraso.

Musgo splash is a favorite. I still have a bottle and a quarter of the original splash, although I can't really tell much difference when compared to the current product.

Musgo cream is some of the slickest.

I see comments every now and then about lanolin gunking up brushes, but I've not seen any ill effects on my brushes from Musgo.

There is no lanolin in the splash. If the splash by itself bothered your skin, chances are you are allergic to something else in there like the fragrance. It could also be that the scent isn't the problem but you are allergic to lanolin in the SC and one of the ingredients in the AS besides the scent.

It depends on what you're looking for. If you need something really soothing because of razor burn then go with the Balm. If you're looking for a fairly soothing, exquisitely scented product that lasts a while then you want the splash. If I had to get one I'd go with the splash. Then again I have enough things that provide soothing after a bad shave but nothing that smells as nice as the splash.
