    Default too many razors?!?!

so, I've been shaving with the Weishi and Derby Extras and really happy so far. But I also have Black Feathers. And a OC New. And a Tech. And a Sheraton. Which do I try, oh me oh my? Feather in the Weishi? Derby in the Tech? The OC New and a Feather? Broken glass in my Sheraton? What shall it be, boys?

I'd try them all and keep a record of each. That way you'll find your own best combo.

I finally settled on rotating 4 different razors and 5-6 different blades depending on what kind of shave I'm in the mood for that day. This keeps shaving from being a humdrum repetitive task like it was with a cartridge. Add different soaps and creams to the mix and every shave is different and something to look forward to.

Soon you'll find Tech/Derby a nice mild combo. Used it my last 2 shaves, which is the max number of good shaves I can get from a Derby blade. By the way, one of my shaving rules is "If a blade draws blood, it gets tossed".

There is no such thing as too many razors.. you sir are a blasphemor and need to be dealt with.
Everyone usually has 1-2 go to and then several that they rotate..

PS this post has made me want to go and check out the antique stores for some more razors.

Try them all, and keep the ones that give you the best results in a rotation.

No such thing as too many, maybe buy a huge assortment of blades and put a different blade in each one, not remembering what is in what. that way each day is a new adventure.

If you want to get rid of your sheraton, I will be willing to take it off your hands.
Joking aside, I found when I was starting, that using one razor and just changing the type of blade I was using helped me find the right blade for me. I then used the same blade in my other razors.
    Good luck
