    Default Display Case

Just thought I'd share the display case I modified to show off my growing collection of Str8s. They are far to gorgeous to keep in a drawer.
It is a hinged display case from a local craft store meant to display bugs and stuff. Cost me less than $10.00.
I think it didn't take me long to fill it up.... I have a feeling I'll need a much bigger one by the time my RAD runs its course! SWMBO is just shakin' her head at me. She just doesn't understand.

    Really nice.

how are the straights mounted? Did the case come with some brads or hooks or something?

I just got some little "closed eye hooks" and unbent them to suit and eyeballed them. Thats why they are unevenly spaced. I should have taken a little more time to get them hanging right (damn OCD...)

Good call! You'll love that catching your eye there on your wall. I have a decent knife collection I've been looking for the right case to display them in, myself.

very nice and the price can't be beat, you could easily do up a few more, slap an AOS sticker on them and charge $100+ for them on the bay too

The scary thing is.. you're probably right.

Now I don't want to tell anyone where I got it. Kidding... kinda...

    ... it was a Micheals.....

Micheals...we have that!!! Wait you are in Red Deer! I am in Edmonton!
Have you seen my call out in the Shaving Canada Rasage Canada social group (see my signature if you have not) about a meet up? Check it out! ...Gotta go (starts car heads to Michael's)

...oh and if you put 'em on ebay don't forget to describe them as "vintage" and "very rare" sigh.

    Cheers
