Which is sharper...?

... A quality razor blade (either SE, DE, well-honed straight), or a surgical scalpel?:confused1

The funny things that cross the mind at 01:25 in the morning while on a call for work... And I'm on the day shift.:cursing:

A razor blade is around 30 nm (nanometers) (1 centimeter is 10 million nanometers)

It looks like a scapel is between 20 and 150 nm, depending on it's use and coating.

A sheet of plain white paper, in comparison, is one million nanometers.

Also keep in mind that both blades are going to cut the skin right open when applied at an adjacent angle to the skin.
